The Autumn Cup was held over the weekend of the 14th of October! and was won by Rick Le Noury with a bass of 6lbs - 3ozs - 4drms Congratulations to Glen Cortez who won the G Bass Shore Open which also helped the Bailiwick Bass Club to win the inter-club challenge 35-12-01 to 33-10-13 So the trophy is now back where it belongs in the big boys club! Also congratulations to Joe Collenette who won the G Bass Boat Open with a Bass of 10lbs - 3ozs - 6drms well done Joe.
Congratulations to Steve Greenway and Roger Berry as they have won the in the Quayside Open Bass Challenges 2011 put on by the Bailiwick Bass Club Steve Greenway won the Maubrook Jewellers Ltd shore section with a fish of 9-04-01, and Roger Berry won in the Maubrook Jewellers Ltd boat section with a fish of 10-07-03. These were very valuable fish for these talented anglers winning them prize money of £400 each along with a Maubrook Jewellers salver.
In the shore section, second prize went to Andy Fallaize with a fish of 8-01-03 (£200), third to Steve Torode (7-04-00; £100) and fourth and fifth to Holly Martin and Sam Robins respectively, who each win tackle prizes supplied by Quayside Marine + Leisure.
In the boat section, second prize went to Brandon La Touche with a fish of 10-02-04 (£200), third to Paul Berry (9-15-04; £100) and fourth and fifth to Ray Breton and Micky Broom respectively, who each win tackle prizes supplied by Quayside Marine + Leisure.
The Paving the Way kayak 1st prize was won this year by Jason Brown weighing in the Kayak caught bass of the weekend just 5 minutes before the open finished with a bass of 4-06-10 winning him £200, and a trophy, the £100 second prize was not won.
The Stan Brouard Limited Shore pairs with a prize of £200 plus trophies were won by Steve Greenway and Steve Torode with a combined weight of 17-05-04.
The Stan Brouard Limited Boat pairs with a prize of £200 plus trophies were won by Roger and Paul Berry with a combined weight of 20-06-07
Piriou Family catch and release with a prize of £100 plus a trophy was also won by Steve Greenway
Concept Group ltd Ladies Shore caught Bass was won by Holly Martin with a bass of 5-15-03
Concept Group ltd junior under 11 Boat caught Bass was won by Sam Shuker with a bass of 6-10-10
The Mister Shifter boat and shore combined prize was not claimed.
The Clubs competition was again very successful with 132 anglers entering, which the organisers were pleased with especially considering the poor weather over the whole weekend which made boat fishing very difficult in total 25 bass were caught on shore for a total weight of 130-09-04 and the Boat caught total was 13 Bass for a total weight of 90-14-04
